Dia Feliz - Happy Day

Hoje o tempo esteve perfeito. O Sol brilhou, os pássaros cantaram e uma leve brisa nunca permitiu estar calor demais.

A plantação de batatas correu bem. Encontrámos um bom equilíbrio entre a complexidade das medições e a atribuição de tarefas.

Após a aceitação, um bom livro e meditação, tudo faz sentido e o coração acalma. Costumo dizer que quando era pequeno as duas coisas que menos gostava de fazer eram comer e esperar. Agora já gosto de comer. O esperar ficou sempre para resolver. Será o medo do aborrecimento? Depois tive consciência da Lei do Efeito Contrário.

Há tanto dentro de nós por descobrir. Por ouvir. Para dar atenção.  E só depois de encontrarmos essa paz, a podemos transmitir aos outros. Hoje o sol brilha e consigo-o ver reflectido nos outros a partir de mim. Vou tentar manter-me atento para que continue a ter luz para partilhar.

Foi um dia feliz na GaunstHouse e é bom ter novamente bons motivos para vos partilhar.

O Victor, um músico ambulante que passa por aqui muito (chamo-lhe de pirata), perguntou-me: Deus queria que não, mas se fosse o último dia da tua vida, o que farias?

Eu abraçaria todos aqui, apanharia um avião para Portugal e ia abraçar toda a minha família e todos os amigos que conseguisse.

Today the weather was perfect. The sun shone, the birds sang and a light breeze never allowed to be too hot.

Planting potatoes went well. We found a good balance between the complexity of the measurement and allocation of tasks.

After acceptance, a good book and meditation, it all makes sense and the heart calms down. I often say that when I was little the two things I hated more were eat and wait. Now I like to eat. The wait was always to solve. Is the fear of boredom? Then I became aware of the Reverse Effect Law.

There is so much within us to discover. To hear. To pay attention. And only after we find this peace, we can share it with others. Today the sun is shining and I can see it reflected on others from me. I'll try to keep myself aware to continue having light to share.

It was a happy day in GaunstHouse and it's good to have good reasons to share with you again.

Victor, a street musician who comes here often (I call him Pirate), asked me: I hope not, but if it would be the last day of your life, what would you do?

I would hug everyone here, would get a flight to Portugal and I would hug all my family and all the friends I could.
