Aqui estou eu na Cabana da Saudade (e ainda não perguntei o porquê de saudade). Uma cota muito para a frentex, a Mané, trouxe-me ao seu lugar. Um terreno com um hectare já muito trabalhado (lá vão vinte anos) com uma boa área para os cavalos (aí uns 8), jardins, bastante relva, muita coisa para a criançada, uma horta razoável e outros espaços para galinhas, gansos, patos, cães, tartarugas, pavões, outra passarada, uma porca, uma cabra e ainda o que não sei. Vegan (mas come ovos não galados), muito amiga dos animais, faz o seu próprio leite de soja na bimbi. Foi construindo à rebelia a casa enorme e cheia de pormenores de quem tem formação em design e tem mais duas ou três construções que aluga e uma das filhas vive.
O facto mais engraçado deste espaço é que as duas filhas e quatro netas do casal (e um genro) vivem todos aqui. Nunca há aborrecimento.
O meu trabalhinho costuma ser apanhar o cócó dos cavalos, repara vedações, arrancar ervas e regar a horta, os jardins, a relva, aí tou eu a distribuir água por aí.
Troquei o frio pelo bom tempo, trabalhar com 15 homens para trabalhar com 8 mulheres (os homens não estão cá durante o dia), o trabalho duro pelo leve e de 35 horas semanais para 25.
Posso dizer que tou de férias :)
Here I am at Cabana da Saudade (and I didn't ask yet why Saudade). A very young spirit lady, Mané, brought me to her place. A land with one hectare already much worked (after twenty years) with a good area for the horses (around 8), gardens, plenty of grass, spaces to the children, a reasonable vegetables garden and other spaces for chickens, geese, ducks , dogs, turtles, peacocks, other birds, a pig, a goat and what I still don't know yet. Vegan (but eat eggs not fertilized), likes animals a lot, makes her own soya milk in bimbi. They have been building rebellious the huge house full of details of who has a background in design and has two or three other buildings that rents and for one of their daughters to live.
The funniest thing of this space is that two daughters and four granddaughters of the couple (and a son in law) all live here. You never get bored.
My work uses to be pick the horses poop, repairing fences, weeding and watering the vegetables garden, gardens, grass, there I am distributing water around.
I exchanged the cold weather by the good one, working with 15 men to work with 8 women (men aren't here during the day), the hard work by the light one and 35 hours per week to 25.
I can say that I'm on vacations :)
