Adeus primo! - Goodbye cousin!

Tínhamos acordado fazer um bacalhau à Gomes de Sá e como o Miguel se iria embora na sexta-feira, ficou assim marcado para o jantar de quinta.

A presença do meu primo aqui abalou um pouco a harmonia inicial. A nossa inevitável cumplicidade deu algo a que nos agarrar, e acho que a experiência de wwoofing é mais plena quando não temos qualquer suporte e temos de nos entregar. Penso que esta resistência que permaneceu foi uma das razões da sua saída antecipada. Mas não somos todos iguais.

Eu e ele partilhámos a cozinha para fazer o almoço, a baba de camelo para o jantar e o dito bacalhau também para a noite. Acho que fazemos uma grande equipa na cozinha e o jantar foi um sucesso. Houve direito a vinho, aguardente de medronho e eu até fumei um cigarro para variar. A boa disposição era geral, sem exageros, sem qualquer tensão e com um luar que iluminava o céu nublado.

Na manhã seguinte levei-o à estação de comboio. Chegámos a tempo ir com um velhote ao ribeiro ali perto para distinguirmos um ulmeiro de um freixo.
